While waiting in the 2.5 hour long line at the state public health office to get my brain proked for the Covids via my nose, I spent some time in front of this Talon this morning. I can’t remember the last time I saw a Talon in person. This one is clearly sporting an older and crappy respray, but the paint was intact. The horizontal surfaces were faded to an orange-ish oxidation, but I couldn’t help but notice that a day spent compounding and polishing would probably yield a respectable looking old car out the paint were one inclined to invest the time in it.
No Covid results yet, but I feel fine, have no symptoms or fever five days after direct exposure to someone who tested positive.

Oh non, you remind me that i saw yesterday that the clear coat on my A3 was getting terrible quite fast on the passenger side of the roof, poor old car :
And that unfortunately won’t buff out :(
And it has not focused on the worst part.

Talon looks pretty good for its age. Clearly well cared for for much of its life, possibly a neglectful third owner but I reckon the current one loves it.
And is that a GMC Jimmy next to it? Looks way better than it has any right to.

That is a Jimmy. Had sunburned horizontal surfaces and a few small parking by feel scars on the corners from the old lady that got out of it, but yes, it was in remarkably good shape otherwise. I figured Oppo would probably notice it.
